“I’m Coming…”

I wanted to take the previous piece a little further. The colors came out really nice, hopefully the narrative is mildly readable. It’s mostly made with fill layers and gradient overlays. I’ve been trying not to rely on textures as much as I have in the past. May take this one to print, the colors should hold up.

THE BAT!

Taking your time helps... a lot. This has been open in my photoshop for close to a week now. I was pretty sick for a couple days this week and couldn't get on the comp. Today I finally sat down and knocked it out, and I'm happy with what I did.

Background.

Trying out a few different styles for backgrounds. This one I referenced Ben Caldwell quite a bit. I love  his work. Then I stuck a sith in it.

Lady Jedi.

A quick jedi chick with a background. I wanted to do an interesting pose but it needed a reason. Jedi's are all over the place... maybe a Sith next.

The side-kick.

Final design for the "bird". It's more of an aquatic-reptilian bird. It has nostrils on the top of it's head so that it can breathe while he's partially submerged. Also, the eyes are low so that it can see underwater while still breathing.

Another render with some copic action. Still trying to figure out the final designs. I think his side kick will be a bird or something else fast.
